Update: I'll be putting a bit of pressure on the glass guy this week, he hadn't started on it when I talked to him last week. Yep, they're coming....

what do they need pot for? they could just breathe in the fibreglass for an extra strong hit..

Sorry all this is taking so long.
Had a chat with the guy today, they are producing the mold (finally!!)
He still reckons about 3 weeks before the first product is out, but he assures me the wait will be worth it.
He reckons they'll come out as good as the original.

The centre section has apparently come up well, but the sides have slight ripples in them due partly to the design of the mounting holes on the insides and because of the material used (urethane).
He still reckons there'll be something to look at in a week.
So what's another week or two after that, seriously? :)

im very interested in one of these spoiler but want to see how they turn out. bearing in mind i havent read through the beginning pages of this thread they will obviously fit a JA?, how do they mount, studs, tape? also can you get them done without the eye level brakelight cutout?

The JD ones mounted using studs through the bodywork. I would imagine you would have to drill holes in your sides to fit them.

The body shop that fitted & painted them said they used polyurethane

The centre section mounts using studs and bolts that fit directly to the tailgate plastic.
Mounting studs have been cut off for the sides so will fit all models, sikaflex is the go...
