This was on gumtree already.
I actually visited it last Sunday. It's got potential, but still a lot of work.

I had a look at it over the weekend with a couple of other forum members and agree with Tomsun, a stack of work to be done to it just to get it running.
It's a JD numbered #43 with D60 option. However car manual showed No#41.(I took pics of the compliance plate etc)
Needs a bit of coin to get it to a decent level.
Interior is there but rooted. Back seat and drivers seat need re-upholstering
Instrument cluster stuffed. Original radio still there as per pic.
No rear cargo cover
Rear spoilers stuffed and would need replacing, particularly the side wings. Front spoiler okay!
Top sections of the doors are rusty and the usual rust on the bottom of guards but not severe.
A few parts missing in the engine bay that would need customising with the twincam build.
No signs of original intercooler and the aftermarket one travels through the battery tray area. Battery was intended for the rear.
Once again, a big project that's doable with a healthy budget and determination.

Good question!
The Auction was ended by the seller before it was over - "This listing was ended by the seller because the item was sold."
The last bid was $1,037.69 and it was ended at 3:44.....(!)(?)

I was waiting in the bushes for a sniping mission - obviously got sniped myself! lol :glare: :crying

Shannon & I took a look at both cars in Ryde a little while ago.

The white car is only good for parts, the red car is nice & complete, but needs shocks, paint, a little surface rust repair.

old mate would probably be open to offers for the wheels only (especially if you supplied some ford/Chrysler stockies)

For those who would spend a little coin to dress up their Starion with Turbo Door handles in excellent condition.

The seller used to be a regular on here but am not sure why he shies away these days.
A nice little touch that would set you back about $200. Hard to get!!

Those Turbo door handles went for a pretty penny! About $300 posted!

Got another special item for sale in Japan.
There's an Auction for a 1986 GSR-V in Silver on J-spec. Looks like it has all the goodies with climate control equipped. However, the car has the velour burgundy interior...:?

http://www.j-spec.com.au/auction/1986-M ... 12364.html

My guess a sale price around $3K and the rest associated with shipping....
A Japan Dealer will probably buy it and put a ridiculous price tag of over $10K.
