off the top of my head - 5.

1 now in NZ (Bartlett car),
1 dead - factory car destroyed in Malasia just before team closed down,
1 in Sydney - other factory car,
1 with Chookie on the coast,
1 in rural NSW with Ron Masing. I can't think of any others which had real group A racing in the 80's.

have I missed one? (I don't consider the factory widebody as one - otherwise it would be mine!)

You mean Group A Touring cars in Australia ? I know of at least two that're not on the above list . But the rest must be somewhere , there were heaps of Group E cars too . What happened to them ?

Who's (or which) cars are they supposed to be? All the starions that competed in Australia have already been listed.

Albury one must be the Colt speed car which originally was the Greville Arnell black car. The Gold Coast car is the Scotty Taylor Zerox shop car which is the car 4 sale at the moment.

As far as group E cars go, I owned the factory Bartlett car which is now in Melbourne I think. fitted with a V6 Commodore engine!!!! (the owner has no idea of the cars history)

Sunshine Coast , not Gold Coast .

There were so many Group E cars , by no means did all of them get converted to Group A . Maybe half a dozen ?

Group E was the real deal as the cars were literally showroom stock with 'race ' tyres and I think they were allowed to fiddle with swaybars but that's about it .
They caned everything else , I think Peter Fitzgerald won something like 28 out of 32 starts .
Group A , as much as I liked it , was bullshit coz of all the dodgy rules and favouritism . Group E was honest ( and Starions kicked all their asses ) .

Albury car isnt the Coltspeed car. Ron still has that one tucked away safely.

check out the floor behind the front seats for bolt holes a dead give away. I forgot, I also owned Peter Fitzgeralds JB Yokohama group E Starion - which I traded in at Zupps Holden.
