seeing as i will soon have to get a new dump pipe, i'm considering just getting one with a flexy section, so that even when my ehaust hits a bump, it won't jerk the turbo

Vulpes wrote:Seriously people get up my nose. Some friggin retard loser has a starion for sale on ebay. He says the car is in good condition for a car of its age, the paint work is a bit faded and the drivers seat has a tear in it. In reality the paint is completely stuffed, different coloured guards and mudflaps, rust in the front guards and rear quarters, seats are probably the worst I've ever seen. Seriously you fag sell it for what it is, a starion in really poor condition suitable for restoration and parts :x :x :x :x :x
If it's somebody from here you should be absolutley ashamed of yourself.
How the $#%$ is cut and polish going to fix that #$#%box. Do I hate liars ? %$#^ yer :wtf:
welcome to the wolrd of cars , 95% of starions out there for sale are hunks of shit , there just like any other old sports car that has been used and abused time and time again . 20 year old cars u have to expect rust , fucked paint , fucked interior its just the way it goes , starion = project . good condition for its age is a good way of puting it i guess .

but that doesnt make any sense ? it's like saying Rosie O'Donell is ok looking whne in fact she is just a fat loudmouth lesbian or like saying the Catholic church is the shining light of Christianity unto the world. If a car is old and falling apart then its old and falling apart no matter how old it is. I cant stand any imperfections in my cars, it drives me crazy !! I must have OCD with cars

Any car built in the 80's can no longer be in excellent condition, however there are some rare exceptions, very rare. Generally, if its described as 'good condition', it will still have numerous issues. paint, rust, interior, mechanical etc. A seller will always make it sound better than it really is to get a better price, we all do that, but as a buyer you can always expect to find problems the seller won't disclose.
Buying older cars is a lottery, some deals you win, others you lose. Do your homework & you won't lose as often. It doesn't matter how the advert is written, you are the one making the decision to buy, no-one is forcing you, unless your heart is bigger than your head. :?

Darryl, you're not that bad...There is nothing wrong with wanted a car to be to your own set standards.

There is a guy on SAU who wanted to build a track R32 GTR. He bought an immacculate R32 GTR from another member...then proceeded to completely strip it and turn it into a track weapon. He has purchased the best of the best parts for this car (ie, ARC cooler $3,500, R1 Titanium exhaust for $4,000 etc etc) and has built the nicest R32 track car I have ever seen that deserves to be in a museam not a racetrack :D
