for a track car don't you want something cheap to start off with and work on ??? the JA i've got is capable of 10-12 psi but havn't installed boost controller but the intercooler, boost gauge, turbo timer and blow off valve are all there aswell as the brand new turbo and practically rebuilt motor for $3000 oh and i've iliminated all rust by putting an new door on and cutting anything else out so you dont need to worry about that.

but where are you located dutchie?

Deeks, the JD also had the smaller TC05 which also contributed to the lower power. They switched to the 3.9 diff to help aid the car's lack of power compared to the previous two models and to also maintain similar speed performance figures (0-100Kph and 1/4 mile).

I`m not going to sit here and try and make an massive effort to convince you to buy my car, the fact is, i know my car.

Its in great condition (No rust) has a well maintained and improved engine/turbo, it has the JD intercooler, boost control, BOV, tacho, white gauges from one of the fantasic forum members, Boost gauge mounted under the stereo, factory turbo timer which still works, good interior, and comes with a $200 doller car cover and you wouldn`t know any of this existed from the exterior due to myself keeping it as a sleeper.

Really if i don`t sell it straight away i`m not to fussed cause F#*K they are a fun car to drive and have. So please choose whats right for you and from whats in front of you, not because I`m a salesman.

Cheers Cam

Well i don`t have it on the market to just sit around for 12 months, but its still good to have the car cause its fun to drive as i think all people on here would agree that they are. Shipping costs, I wouldn`t have a clue, it would be cheaper to drive it depending where you are!!!

]You can quote me on this ADVERTISER. A 2.0l internal combution engine even with forced induction can mathematically only use a preset amount of air. Therefore only a set amount of PULP @ the correct ratio can be injected and finally a set amount of HP+TORQUE. Why spoil the fun in moding? Thats not my mission, just think B4 buying bigger bolt-ons, the 4g63T in ja,s is not by street rubber restricted by the turbo, injectors, E.F.I sys.I could go on. I don't care if you take this in or not, I would be happy to debate these facts, or let in on secret U have. One last thought 4 U. 1/2 the vehicles weight is fuckin' cheap way to double your HP. [/b]

hey folks , thanks for all the info i'm starting to get the drift(no pun intended) that starions r great machines to work up & this is what i'm looking forward to.
CAM your car sounds neat & tricked is this same one that's 4 sale in the Trading post at the moment, i'm based in SA & will only b in Vic for 2 days- not enough to cross the strait. :?
I'll b starting in road registered clubsprints to feel the cars' characteristics b4 i go 2 berserk with mods & weight reduction hence i'm after a neat one with good base mechanicals. :D
