it really is a shame that people will happily spend the asking price on a ratty, rusty run down ae86 or s2/3 rx7 but no one looks twice at a twin cam starion for that amount of money.

the unfortunate truth is that prices are dictated by supply and demand, not by value or quality.

After a few hours of thought I have decided to take the advice of Thrash and those who bid on my ebay auction.

I am going to offer this car up for $5500.00

I will be listing it on ebay again in the next few days, but would prefer to sell it to someone on this forum as I know how passionate those who come here are about these cars are.

Hi, if you decide to go down the road of breaking it I would be interested in the exhaust manifold.

Thanks,

agreed with red. Hang in there, these cars take time to sell

or better yet, just keep not driving it and in another 18 years "holy fuck is that a starion?!?!"

Are you short on space? If not, you've had it for 18 years.. is it really worth selling it off for next to nothing and then have someone mess with it or put it into a tree?

I don't know your circumstances mate, but if you're not in need of the money or the space, I implore you to keep it!

Guys you are probably right but circumstances are dire at the moment.
I appreciate what you are saying and feel the same, but the car had to go and is just now been sold.

It is with a tremendous amount of regret to see the old girl go, i have has some great times and some shocking times with her over the years but the memories will always remain. I will certainly miss her greatly.

I believe it is going to a good home, i am also pleased to see someone with a passion for the car and a active member of Austarion will be her guardian.

I wish everyone all the best in the future and entrust that you all will keep these spectacular cars on the road.

Sorry to hear about your circumstances Ken. Wish you all the best and may your undesirable circumstances be very short lived.
