WHITE '91 HG GSR
The GOOD:
VERY good body and interior.
The BAD:
The engine has a fubar auto transmission which has been removed.
The front wheels/struts are off.
The "electronic" suspension is stuffed.
Head has been removed because one of the exhaust valves was burnt.
SILVER '90 HH GSR
The GOOD:
Has a reconditioned manual gearbox (less than 10k ago).
Interior is great.
No Rust.
It has had the "electronic" suspension removed and replaced with a standard suspension setup.
The BAD:
Light hail damage.
Clear coat is peeling off the bonnet, roof and boot.
The engine had broken a timing belt so the head and pistons are FUBAR.
SILVER '89 HG GSR
The GOOD:
It has had the "electronic" suspension removed and replaced with a sports suspension setup.
It's a manual.
The BAD:
A LOT of rust and the foot wells are full of water.
The shifter for the transmission is sloppy.
Has a blown head gasket but it's able to start and drive.
GOODIES
Included with the cars are 2 full engine gasket kits and a fully reconditioned big port head. It has 1mm O/S stainless valves, bronze valve guides and Gen-3 lifters.
Originally going to put the reconditioned manual transmission into the white galant along with the sports suspension out of the rusty HH. The reconditioned head was also going into the White one as well.
The engine(after a quick rebuild) and gearbox out of the rusty HH was going into the good Silver HG. This was going to be a "Shitter/Rally" beast, with the other silver one as spare parts.
Cheers.
3 twincam HH/HG Galants + some goodies.
I will be removing and keeping the engines and gearboxes from all these cars just before I scrap them. Sorry.T-man wrote:Hi superscan, I would be interested in the plastic top, middle and bottom timing belt covers, but I need them posted to the uk. Is this possible? If so what's the costs involved?
Cheers,
T-man.
