Yellow 82 starion

Post by SIRIUS »

Hi boys, got a ja starion that is sitting in the shed collecting dust an space. i'd like to sell but most likely people want it for peanuts.
while i had it i rebuilt the motor with forgies, rebuilt the turbo an added a turbo back 2.5 inch pipe too. along with very nice custom fmic with aluminium piping an a gfb stealth bov, with a bunch of other add ons too. i spent a fair bit of money on this back in the day. i parked it up because i blew 2nd gear an a new box at the time was not coming up for sale. so there it sat.

if i could get 3 k for it id let her go. am i dreaming?

A guy on the forum has a couple of fully rebuilt gearboxes. About $550 each, but check with him first, plus post (www.e-go.com.au)
Superscan is his user name. Considering how much money you have spent on the old girl, it may be worth giving her another chance....

Is this the yellow JA with Conquest rear lights and somewhat of a body kit?

550 for a fully rebuilt gearbox is dirt cheap!

don't try explaining that to her tho..... just leave. lol

If you love the car then you will most likely regret selling as you could have installed the recoed box that Thrash mentioned.
