VR4 block, o-ringed...

Post by Lummy »

For sale is a VR4 block prepared by Mick's Motorsport in Sydney.

It has stainless steel o-rings and has been precision bored to 86.5mm - with a 5 stage hone (the hone marks are still visible). The block has been line honed and it was acid cleaned. Block was also decked.

Comes with a copper head gasket (these are re-useable, you just anneal them prior to instaltion) and also a trial-fitted but never run Cometic head gasket.

Bare block with 2 gaskets and installed o-rings: $200

Located in Sale, Vic.

E-Go has excellent rates for freight!!

Surely I'm not asking too much for this?

I'm moving house in a month and would really prefer to not take this with me.

I can also throw in a sump - it has a few dents, but it's alright.

I will go home pull out my pistons and see what size I have. Hopefully they will fit this block, if so, I will look into shipping costs and let you know tomorrow if I can use it :D

My pistons are 86mm. They are too small for this block I think...

At 86.5, I don't know if a Starion block would have enough meat left!

Amazingly, this is still for sale.

I have enough paper weights at home, so please, grab this and build yourself a tough VR4 motor.
