Agreed. But it gets to a stage where they don't get any cheaper as they know it is a limited number of starions to sell to and they end up cannablising their own market.

Eg if a retailer is making $1000 profit off 6 set he is not going to lower his prices to make even $1200 off 12 sets etc.

Just got an SMS Re: the D2's. The guy is waiting for a response regarding the spring rates of what they are shipped with but he said custom spring rates are do-able, add approx $50. (Confirming that is for the full set not a corner) :beer

Hi Charles,

Thank you for the email. Unfortunately, we don't supply D2 anymore, but
just provide technical support to the remaining customers that we have sold
the products to.

This was due to quality concerns as we were having quite a lot of
complaints before. Also, the same product is also sold as a few other
different brand names.

Anyhow, we can manufacture couple of sets for you boys if you like as we
are selling a different brand of suspension called Standard aka. STD.
Please go to
www.evolution-r.com.au for further info. The quality surpasses
D2 anyday.

As long as you guys can provide me a set of used springs and shocks for
your car, I will be able to manufacture the suspension for you with
whatever spring rates you want. Price on offer is A$950 shipped with a
minimum order of 6sets and it will take up to 6-8 weeks to produce and
ship. Our RRP is A$1599 at the moment but we are looking at supporting
group buys and clubs to promote this product. It will be a one-off price
only.

For further info, please email to info@evolution-r.com.au

Thank you and regards,
Mao Gan/ Evolution R
Are you going to be able to supply him the parts and follow this through?
No. I was just pointing out another option. Originally, I emailed him about possibly supplying the D2 suspension since they were the official Aus distributors, and that was the reply.
