Cat trailer
For the price of a good second hand trailer, you are far better off buying a new one for around $3500 / $4000.
I had one built 5 years ago for $5K but that is way over the top as it carries my 2 grinders around for work, and also is just the right size for a Starion LOL....
It is a 3000kg GVM with 4 wheel electric brake away brakes just to justify the price!
Cheers

Rad some things i have learnt from towing starions with trailer are.
1. Look at the weight of the trailer you are towing. I used to tow a full checker plate twin axle trailer that weighed 800kg. Combine it with the weight of a starion will push you into the 2+ tonne mark, without adding in fuel, spare tyres or any tools. Most cars cannot legally tow this, let alone have a safe amount of power or brakes for the job.
2. look for is the size of the ramps. The longer the better imo. I have to jack up the front of the trailer so i can get mine off and on each time without damage (and it's attached to a Jeep Cherokee.)
3. Do some research on carrying capacity, as most only carry 1300kg max (to bad if you want to tow a commodore or falcon :( )
Hope this helps mate and goodluck

I was looking for a 2 tonner and my new Colorado turbo diesel dual cab can tow 3 tonne :D
PS I went for the Colorado after a freind who has one and tows his VL Turbo and said how good it was with no overheating probs with the auto even going over the Gap on the way to Carnel Raceway in Stanthorpe
