FOR SALE '82 JA starion + bits, central queensland
my starion got very hot and has popped either the head gasket or the head itself... http://forums.austarion.com/viewtopic.php?t=12488
i'd like to try to move everything below in one hit for $1000 nice and quick
the car:-
the engine does start and will idle normally but as i CBF getting tricky to plug the leak i don't know how it will be once its warmed up.
remote central locking 1/2 fitted ( didn't get round to extending the wiring and fitting the actuators.. fob's might need batteries )
suspension is only months old.
+
4 x stock rims powdercoated white + tires.
4 x 14" "jelly beans" rims + tires.
2 x front seats ( rails rusted and they need to be re-trimed
1 x intercooler
8 x aluminium pipes ( str8, 45deg, 90deg, 180deg all x2 )
lengths of 4" stainless steel piping ( 3 x 500mm ish 1 x 700mm ish )
4L tin moody blue mica
4L tin top coat clear
if i find anything else i'll add it in
pics and other bits http://s78.photobucket.com/albums/j120/abcnoll/starion/
reason: not the right time to have a project car - evidenced by me having hardly touched since i bought it a couple of years ago. also got a loan that i really should clear before i funnel money into a toy

Fark, if this was in Sydney or NSW I'd snap this up, put the stocker out of the JB in it and have a cruiser.

Friends call me Ashgan or Ash... But you can call me failchanic. If there's a routine maintenance job that exists on a starion, then chances are i've failed at it.
First attempt fails include:
-Changing indicator light
-Changing spark plugs
-Changing belts
-Changing airfilter
-Changing oil
-Removing rear strut
-Replacing front strut
