EOI: [VIC] 1982 Silver JA Starion

For Sale:
- 1982 Silver JA Starion. Open to all reasonable offers...

Condition:
- GOOD, apart from Fuel Injectors/ECI leaking ALOT of fuel **Update: Organising a replacement ECI through Redzone, so the car will be sold with this problem sorted!
- Travelled 255,000 Kms

Other issues:
- Power steering box is leaking a little bit fluid
- Steering wheel has some play (probably needs new drag link)
- Burns/leaks a bit of oil (requires occasional topping up)

Extra Info
- Body STRAIGHT and NO structural rust.
- Interior & dash is clean, front leather seats very worn.
- Paint is good, though starting to fade on roof
- 4 new tyres all round - 2009'
- Air con works great (re-gased this summer)
- Tenzo Intercooler installed
- 2.5 inch exhaust
- Timing belt changed at 225,000 kms
- Clutch changed a couple of years ago & gearbox still strong
- Cooling system good, and temp always runs under halfway on gage

Are injectors included in the ECI, and are they definitely not leaking?

Replaced 2 of these units already, so just want to make sure it's not another leaker.. As my current injectors have ceased.

yep injectors are included, definitey were not leaking when they were removed, i have a couple of these at the moment so if its no good i can send u another..

To be honest though she's been VERY good to me... just this fuel leak i can't seem to ever get rid of! Never had it this bad though (i've replaced the unit & injectors before), fuel is gushing out of the unit with heaps of pressure! Not sure what else it could be...? It won't even start now...

I know what you mean Marc, man I wish I had kept some of the cars I sold and sold some of the cars I kept :roll:
Perhaps my biggest regret is selling my Westfield Lotus 7. Wow now that was a car. Still when I drive my staz and hear that exhaust note AND I'm warm and dry well that's something I suppose. Still for the cost of what my Starion has cost me I could have kept the westfield even though I sold it at the time becaus ei needed the money. As you say, hindsight is great thing.

Received my replacement fuel injection unit from Redzone today. Excellent packaging and received quickly.. If this was eBay you would be getting 5 stars, so thanks again mate! Much appreciated for your help.

Will install this Saturday..... Hopefully sorts out my fuel leak issue!
