Parts car must go....whaddya want ?

Post by Alspos »

UPDATE - Car is going to heaven early next week.

My red parts car (JA series 1) has to leave my front yard. It has been sitting for a while.

What is on the car currently -
All windows and electric motors etc. Grey door trims and head linings to above seats (unmolested) Seats are rooted, good for garden ornaments.
All glass and trims (although trim on cowl is rooted :()
All locks are in place and work, can be removed and sold as a set (all removed)
Front indicators, tail lights.
Average panels. Header panel ok. Bonnet. Hatch of course  Rear quarters if you really want them.
Open Diff, tailshaft, half shafts.
Front and rear sway bars (perfect for twin sway bar conversion, I can help with plans)
Handbrake cables, fuel door, bonnet release cables.
14" rims....crap tyres...mountains of them
Motor was dead when I got the car, turbo crapped itself and blew head gasket. I will see if exhaust manifold has any damage, cracks etc. Inlet side all there.
AC compressor, condenser core etc.
2 JA bonnets
I also have various interior parts, Grey, that need to find a home or go to the tip.

Headlight switches/Dash pod (SOLD)
Engine heat shields (SOLD)
MAP sensor (SOLD)
Airflow meter (SOLD)
Gear lever boot (SOLD)
Gearbox (SOLD)
Tail lights (SOLD)
Inlet manifold (SOLD)
Steering wheel (SOLD)

I'll post up pics later today or tomorrow.

Cheers

According to the cars first (and only other owner) the car was driving fine up until the engine melt. So I have no reason to believe it's not ok. Still shifts etc while in dry dock.

If the rear number plate garnish has little or no damage, I'm interested in it!
Also, condition of JA turbo exhaust housing....any cracks inside??

Thanks!

Garnish has one broken top tab, faded.
Exhaust housing, I will pull it off to check, will hopefully get some time in the next few days to have a go at it.

Broken tab and fading OK. Tab still there?? Actually, please check for cracks on the surface where bolts are located on the bottom/rear. Overtightening causes the front surface to crack!
LMK on the turbo ex housing... :beer
