WTB (WA) Original Struts and Steering Box

Post by jk »

Due to the size and weight of these items I'm hoping there's someone in WA who has some spares they can let go (Sell).

STRUTS - I'm looking to build up a lowered set of struts to hotswap into my JB, I'm trying to keep time off the road to a minimum.
I would ideally prefer complete standard struts including hubs and calipers, as I will freshen up wheel bearings and calipers etc as part of the upgrade/makeover.
At a minimum I would need a full front and rear set of strut bodies with original spring platforms and strut tops.

STEERING BOX - Looking for a Steering Box ONLY in good condition, I plan to try and modify this to run without power steering. Once again this is so that I can play around with it before taking the car off the road.

I'm located South of the River but can pickup from anywhere in the metro area, PM or reply posts if you can help

If you want to run without power assist, then look to use a sigma steering box. There are a few topics on this forum over the years, just do a search.
Will give a better and quicker job than trying to modify a starion box (and easier to find  )

Oh and FYI - the rear struts are seperate from the hub and brakes.

I may be able to help.
I'm having a sale at my workshop soon, and EVERYTHING must go.
Keep a lookout at the events/cruises on this forum for details...
