I posted the advert on the UK Starion website.
It's a 'ramped' Ralliart/motorsport multiplated LSD and a 4.6:1 crown wheel and pinion. To suit small shafts ( 25 tooth ) / small diff casing.
Also believe it will fit a Lancer EX2000 turbo if the axle casing is machined right.
Both parts are surplus to requirements and I need some room.

say.. probably sounds like a dumb question, but.. if you change the diff ratio, won't your speedo be wrong?

Diff ratio
This is a motorsport item, not really aimed at road cars. It will give better acceleration but the top end speed comes down. Most rally cars have similar ratios, 4.4, 4.6 , 4.9 even 5.1 for real screaming engines that can pull 9500-10000 rpm.thrash wrote:say.. probably sounds like a dumb question, but.. if you change the diff ratio, won't your speedo be wrong?
An example of this is a 'Subaru WRX RA lightweight' model. It came with 4.1 or 4.4 diff ratios so it only did about 115 to 120 mph but got there quick. Rather like a moto-cross bike has no real topend speed but pulls like stink from a standstill.

does this use the 180mm ring gear?
I have a sapporo rear end which I have been told can use the p;d starion flatbody lsd but the early non intercooled ones. Apparently theyw ere 180mm and not 200mm like anything intercooled or newer in the starion family.
Looking for one to go into my lancer lb. Picked this rearend up hoping I can find a lsd for it. She's gonna be doing some rally in the next year if I can ever piece together all the parts.
