EOI: 4G64 2.4L wideblock.

I'm tempted but haven't decided whether or not to muck around with this and modify it to generate huge power.

It's a 4g64 wideblock with 7 bolt crank and crank support girdle.
The top end was recoed only 92,000kms ago.

If I'm to sell it, my preference is to sell complete - flywheel, oil and water pumps, pulleys, etc. I have all the other bits for a conversion if required.
Things like A/C compressor, starter, even the 92,000km clutch.

This is the engine that came from a 1992 L300 recently:

Time to bounce it again...*thud*...bloody hell! It didn't bounce!
Where are those couple of interested parties...? :o
It only takes one (with money) to become the new owner.
I will keep it tho if I don't get a reasonable offer on it.

Good news! :o
I just checked - it's confirmed, definitely a wide block with 130 and 330mm centres, and double checked that they match the Staz box lying beside it. Yep!
I compared the flywheel to the Starion block (also sitting nearby) and it protrudes exactly the same distance from the sandwich plate.
It's also the same diameter.
The only difference I can see is that the Starion fly is stepped in by half an inch - nothing that couldn't be fixed by a bit of machining (you'd lighten the thing at the same time anyway).
