That's in the right ballpark, if you subtract the weights of the fuel and OLD FAT [sic,

Yep, about right.
Fuel=45kgs
Driver=87kgs
3088/2.2=1404
1410-87-45=1278
I believe Starions are 1265 from the factory.

Hardly a young pup, with 3 kids and owning a Staz since '88 (which wasn't my first car), Oldie! But I'll take it as a compliment :)
My math was exactly the same as what Alspos did, which means there's a discrepancy of 13kg. The only logical explanation is that you're really 100kg instead of 87kg. How long have you been lying about your true weight, hmmm?

Forgot to say that all the air con has been removed
If you were born after 1939 then to me you are still a young pup LOL

I actually dont think thats that bad of a number considering the strength of the chassis. Definately not the lightest car, but its a far cry from the big 6 cylinder gt cars of the day.

Ah...the plot thickens (as now must your waistline
). In that case you must be closer to 130kg :o

In that case, guilty as charged - young pup I must be, or do I qualify as 'young whippersnapper' :)
