Glenjo said there is one that lives near his place in Victoria.
A guy in Queensland advertised 2 for sale. One was the ex-Ralliart rally car and the other was a road car. decoy I think that's the blue one you mean. He moved here from the UK and shipped them over as personal imports. Both are 2.0 litre. I believe he is starion.gsrvr that posted the "race parts for sale". I spoke with him on the phone about a year (maybe two years) ago when I saw the advert.
That makes 7 maybe? Are there any in WA? As I understand it the Jap imports thing first started in WA because the laws were different (easier) over there for importing cars. I wonder if any were imported? Any WA members care to comment??

I've seen 3 on the Gold Coast.
- Woodies Black jap import
- The Pommie blue one
- A light blue one with tropical QLD plates.

Theres was also one advertised for $10K unfinished with an Evo motor in it (woodie may know more about it)

My widebody is a 1988 Jap spec Mitsubishi Widebody Starion 2.6Litre turbo. I will post some new updated pics of it soon after the autosalon up here which it will be in. If any starion owners are in QLD then come to autosalon and see me there. I will have neons galore, custom made seat covers leather, checker plate floors, perfect paint, Hi-flow T4 turbo, Airpod with MAF translator, will let you know how it turns out, tinting, 13psi with atomic boost controler, kick ass boot install, being built in 2 weeks, DVD system with Mini cam, steering wheel, I think that is it, I am running it at Jamboree and will let you know the E.T.

My mechanic also has a JA starion and a white widebody from england. His is a JA with genuine widebody guards on it with a 2Litre engine. It is nice but I prefer my Black one.

By the way, if you want to see old photos of the car when I bought it, go to: http://www.geocities.com/widebodywoody/pics.htm
This has my old subbox set up and old everything really.
