Why do they stack it up against cars that are significantly newer? Maybe against other cars that were 82-87. The results may have been different.

I can vouch for the safety of a Starion on side impact. Not many people i know have died in them or had serious injury. I do know that Maurie Quincey's wife did lose her life when the car hit an embankment and rolled onto its roof. Any one else know?

I can vouch for the starion being a tank head on, myne still moved and steered reluctantly while the other car (honda prelude '91) lost it's front wheels.

That's not necessarily a good thing...........

I'd rather have a write-off and walk away.

Crumple zones are my friend. :)

I'd rather have a crash in the starion than our civic....

At least the starion is made of metal, not aluminium...

Crumple zones are nasty things....
