My Lotus seven Clubbie finally fired back into action after its unfortunate engine demise due to a wandering conrod caused by a $4 banjo fitting on the external wastegate.

The new donk:

4G63B Turbo
Balance shafts removed
Custom sump to hold 6L of oil
Nitrided crank
Forged H beam conrods
Forged Pistons
Cometic head gasket
550cc Injectors
Wolf 3D ECU
T03/04 Turbo
Custom exhaust manifold
Tial 38mm External wastegate
3" Exhaust
Custom front mount intercooler

The old engine made 150 rwkw's at only 10 PSI and I managed a 0-100km time of 3.8 seconds, so looking forward to running 17 PSI on the new one when it's run in. Will hopefully make 200+ rwkw's and will maybe break into the sub 3 second 0-100km bracket (Traction allowing).

Go the 4G63!!!

Good to be back on the road again with the rest of you.

It certainly puts a grin on your face. :D
But with no windscreen your grin tends to get full of bugs!
And bugs hurt in the face at 110km's if you forget your helmet!

Thanks guys.
The car is going in for a new paint job shortly. Getting it sprayed the same colour as the engine bits. It's a metallic tangerine with a silver pearl and prismatique specks through it. The colour that it is now grew on me when I first bought it but after six months it's time for a change.
Does the money spending ever end???
Now I have two money pits to throw my cash into!!!
