At a local swap meet I came across a JA service manual, chassis manual and a JD service manual - $35 lot. If anyone needs info from them let me know & I'll scan.

No it was the Beenleigh swap last sunday.

Was a welcome change to actually find something I needed between Holden/Ford bits.

Man, can you scan and create a PDF or put on a CD?

Deeks do we have space to host something like this?

probably not, however they can be hosted on my server with no limits and ofcourse no cost.

apparantly we've got unlimited space on this server, just that its not that reliable, eg. when the site is unaccesable sometimes. Other then that there's room.

I have the equipment at work to scan said manuals but it's a matter of a lack of time to do it. I thought there was a set of manuals that had been scanned some time in the past? If I did undertake this large job I certainly wouldn't want to redo work already done. For instance the 1986 manual is about 25mm thick.

I think the simplest method of distribution is via CD. Cost would mainly be postage.

In summary - are there any manuals already scanned?

MrBishi,
can you check in the JD manual and see what compression ratio it says the engine is?

thanks.

To settle all bets - Intercooled Starions delivered to Australia in 1986 had a C/R of 7.6:1. If anyone has any arguments I'll scan the proof.
