Hey guys! Im Casey from the States and I am working on making some "GSR-VR" reproduction decals. I couldn't find a lot of large pictures on the internet and I noticed that some of you have GSR-VR models. Could any of you take a picture of the decal on your car for me? If you do not have image hosting you can e-mail them to me at
caseylacourse@gmail.com.
Thanks in advance!

I did a little work in school in illustrator and I already have one made in vector art. I just want to make sure it is perfect. Here is a JPG of what I have done. If you want we can collaborate in out efforts, if you get me some nice pics Ill give you my vector art and you can have the rights to use it. I just want to help out the international community!

As a matter of interest , Those Decals are the U.S. market only , they're completely different to the Japanese ones .

No US starions or conquests were labeled GSR-VR. We got the ESI and ESI-R models, not they never had decals.
So the above pic is not of a US starion

PM me if you want the vector file, or let me know if anyone can host it.

Yeah , I know that . But as I hadn't seen that one before , I came to a possible (but wrong) conclusion . . .
I looked into it and that does seem to be JDM , they had a thing about completely changing the Badging every year for a while .
That particular one was '86 or '87 I was told . After that they basically debadged the Starion , except for the Intercooler Turbo door decals they pinched from the Pajero .

My '89 had nothing except the INTERCOOLER TURBO . Basically , the same as Woody's . I guess some owners could 've put the GSR-VR on maybe , they do things like that .
But knowing Mitsubishi , maybe some days they didn't have any stock and or just used whatever was lying around . rofl

Who knows, but of all the original, unpainted widebodies that I have seen, the "STARION GSR-VR" decal was on the right rear hatch
