Yes, Greg. This is what the complete retard did while he had my car at his workshop.

Engine is an RB26DETT and had developled a big end bearing knock so I shut it off and towed it back to the workshop (which will remain unnamed) to avoid any further damage.

The next time I saw the car it wouldn't even start and didn't sound healthy at all. Upon disassembly (at another workshop), the pics above is what we found.

How did it happen? looks like a certain imbecile decided to thrash the guts of the engine until it exploded.

Why did it happen? I haven't spoken to him yet as I cannot guarantee his safety when I go to see him.

Rods are Apexi V-max forged H-beams rated at 1000HP with HKS Step 3 forged pistons.

So you dropped your car in to get repaired and this guy thinks it's a good idea to give it a thrashing before repairing it?

You get the garbage bags, I'll get the chainsaw.

Charlie, is that the guy in Brooky that did that?

Yep, sure is. What is worse is that I have known him for a while and I have helped him out on many many occasions. He has been building up a GT-R for the past five years, too. Maybe I should take that for a thrashing when he finishes it. But I am above that sort of retribution.

I know of the perfect disposal 'depot' to put this piece of rubbish in.

Go see a lawyer, I doubt they can do much but it might scare him into admitting fault. I also doubt you can buy rods and pistons per the single :(

This is the exact reason why I will never send my car to a workshop ever !!.......if I fuk up, ok then its my fault and I fix it but if a workshop fuks up, then they'll make up some bs to not be finacially liable plus the fact that my labour rates are free so I'ld probably still come up on top if I manage to ever screw up that bad...

definitely see a lawyer. i own a workshop myself and if i did something like that (and there`s no fn way in hell i would) i`d be expecting some serious consequences coming my way. at the very least his insurance should cover it..
