That is a 4G52 manifold originally. They are an Aussie only thing that was made for a locally produced 'Sigma turbo' in the very early 80s. They have a TO4 flange split pulse and 32mm garret external gate.
Will bolt onto any Astron head including 4G54s & magnas.

I think they are a very well designed manifold with cyl 1&4 and 2&3 paired, though now are showing signs of 25 years of use. Most are cracked where the split pulse area is and there were never a huge amount made. Originally only 500 sigma turbos made & an unknown number of 'kits' sold.

I have one on the shelf with minor cracking if you want to see some detailed pics of one.

This manifold was produced by Garrett Australia. The Sigma turbo was a project developed by Garrett Australia and Mitsubishi Australia.
Garrett Australia also sold the systems an aftermarket kit.

The reason why it has a carb is because no cars were sold with fuel injection by Mitsubishi Australia at that time it was developed. The Sigma which was RWD was built here by Mitsubishi Australia with both the G52 2.0 and G54 2.6 engines.

The factory Sigma turbo was a G52 2.0 litre. However the manifolds are the same so will fit on the G54 2.6 as well.

Interestingly Mitsubishi Japan had a version of this car with the same 4G63 2.0 SOHC turbo engine that we have in our OZ Starions. This car was sold in other export markets but not Australia.

This is what the car looked like http://www.cardomain.com/ride/680521/1

Lots more here http://www.cardomain.com/MakeModel/Mitsubishi/Sigma

So in conclusion nothing to do with Ralliart.

Spot on mrb..they were a slow dog tho, and if you wound up the boost they would fry the clutch and ping like a biatch.

They only made 500 factory Turbo Sigmas.. All were 2.0L because apparantly the 2.6 version was deemed to powerful and was banned before production.

It was the second fastest car in its day according to Wheels magazine.GTHO beat it, only just.

Flav,, About 80% of all sigmas ping anyway....
