Original Race Starion At The GoldCoast

This is an original Race Starion I believe it was group c now racing in group A all up and down the east coast. Heres A Pic of me testing the flavour of the bonnet lock mmmm tastes like AWESOME.

Nope no key in the ingnition, i checked. IT WAS FACING THE DOOR TOO!!

This thing is a real beast! Thanks Dean for letting me have a look. Nicest starion i have ever seen, real life in pics, what ever. This thing has serious horses. Was awesome to sit in an original race setup staz, almost cried.

No that car is GroupA not GroupC. However for the historic races they sometimes let the GroupA and GroupC cars race together to make up the numbers.

was talkin to him a little while ago its an ex production car racer from the eighties cant for the life of me remember who raced it back then but i believe it was converted 2 group a back then aswell... my parents took video footage of that car racing at baskerville track in tassie coupla years ago slidin around between v8 commodores n rx7`s. and i mean sliding!!!

Yes it actually started as a GroupE car (production car) then was converted to GroupA. Notice high quality turbo oil feed line :D :D :D

mrb1, looks like we are going to get to run the Starion at Bathurst next easter long weekend, powers that be are planing a historic event similar to the Goodwood Festival of speed in England

That would be a fantastic event. I hope they get it off the ground.

Ron would no doubt be keen to run the Coltspeed car at that meeting.

Good to have 2 Group A starions in the same event hey.
