STARION at Rally Australia .

David Officer has just finished his first stage at Rally Australia , with tonight being the Special Stage .
He was just beaten though by .... a ........Holden Commodore.....
My first reaction was W T %#$')!!"*+ F .

But I then realised this must be a ploy to lull the WRC teams into a false sense of security , and tomorrow when the real racing starts , all hell will break loose .
Having said that , the cat may be out of the bag . I beleive Petter Solburg in particular is shitting himself .

He won the first race tonight and lost the second (driver error)

Nachoman and I (and my young fella) went tonight, and saw the Staz race twice. It was up against a 260Z - lost the first, won the second. For the second race, they decided to give the 260Z a 1 second handicap, but the driver jumped the gun (so ended up being no handicap) - the Staz won nevertheless.
