Introducing myself
Hi guys, I discovered this site on google last night, seems like a pretty decent establishment!
My name is Nick, I am from Tasmania and I don't own a Starion yet but I am fascinated by their style and the fact that they are an affordable RWD Turbo. I currently drive my daily Toyota Celica SX ST184 which I would keep even if I were to purchase a Staz, my current car is a mint example and again I like the style of it but I also want a RWD car that I can enjoy on the weekends and as a little bit of a project (but not a hard one, coz I'm still learning the ropes) and maybe take it to the track.
My Celica:
At the moment my knowledge is very limited but hopefully after turning the forums upside down I can educate myself along the way. I've picked up that there are about 3 or 4 different models (JA, JB etc.) but I don't know specifically what is different between configurations. I've seen many photos of Staz's with alternate bonnets, scoops, vents, flutes etc. but I don't know what is stock and whats aftermarket, I'm hoping to learn all that soon!
Look forward to getting to know everybody and their cars in the future!

Welcome Home...... :D
You will love the Starion....and hate it. But it kicks ass over the Celica, mabey not so much in the interior department as standard. Tweeked a little and the power is fun.
First warning is...dont buy a shitter. Save 4 or 5 grand and get a good unit. There's always a few around here on the forum to be had as some of us own more than one or two..or three.

Hey Nick
It's a good idea to keep your celica as starions can be a bit temperamental at times, a fun car though :D Dunno what flav is on about, starion interiors are sweet! Seats look like they belong in a jet fighter
hope you enjoy the site

Watch your speed - It's virtually impossible to pick it out of the carpet if it gets blown off the table.
