i had one tonight seeing the cop wave that glowing baton into a breathalyser lane, thinking oh no please dont do a check on my car. not that i have a lot to worry about, all i could see them finding wrong is im running a oil based air filter, bov, not sure about the intercooler, they cant dick you for that can they? i remember a mate saying something about a certain amount of air mods you can have.

anyone in here been defected before and for what?
i got one from a unmarked traffic cop last week for having red silicone covers over the parking lights. "no front facing red lights, no rear facing white lights" he didnt even say a word about my underglow. (purple)

Guess what, she was about to defect me cos my muffler had a dumper,Cos it was pointing slightly downwards she said oh all the stuff out of the engine will spill on the road,oil smoke and nonsense like that,it will make the road greasy and all,she always said thats not factory,thats not factory.EG-my opened up air box-i tried to explain to her that how is that a bloody defect.She said its not a factory item,What did i say-

I said i worked in a holden dealership,and i servised police cars,and i said they dont have factory internal componants,they use difrent cams and aother stuff,so your ploice car is not factory,She raised her tonre explaining no our cars are not modified BLA bla bla bla bla.

aND GUESS WHAT ALSO-when they fist looked at my car,engine bay and that,she asked where are the engineers paper,i said this car is originally turbo,i said its a factory turbo car,She shut up about the papers later.

ummm, Roger you dickhead....police cars are modified in the factory.....as in Holdens do the mods...these are special order, much like HSV's etc. all perfectly factory. anyway...thought your amazing car was stock??? :D:D:D:D

Yes you dick head, the police cars, are special order from Holden and Ford. Did you know that you can't get a Holden Acclaim the V6 model, with a V8 stock? Well the police do, and they are the only ones who can get it. They look V6, but they go V8.

you dick head, they even get that 'pass over a box cerb 40 times at 40kmh (or something) without stuff breaking mods' this is why they dont handle too well, so they can get airborne.

yeah, cop cars have heaps of mods. because the people who make them know the cops are gonna drive them.

so extra washers, missing bolts/etc...its quite funny. never buy an ex cop car.
