How mad does this turbo look!?
Also How good would a Turbo T3/4 .5 front .63 rear turbo be on a starion engine?

The 0.63 Rear would be a bit small after 200Kw ATW, 0.7 A/R is about the sweet spot for SOHCs'

So would this be a better suited turbo?
Super T70 Turbo New 0.7 a/r Compressor 0.84 a/r PTrim Turbine Housing Split Pulse

I disagree. 0.63 is much better suited to SOHC due to their lower maximum redline. However, the a/r isn't the only consideration as it is actually a ratio and not a specific size measurement.
The T70 turbo with the specs you have listed is too big for a 2L SOHC engine. It is more suited to engines larger than 2.5L in capacity, Ie 6 cylinders and rotaries.

Just for future reference guys, any XY / Super / Master Power - Turbo's are a waste of money, so many complaints about the quality and how long they actually last that you may aswell throw your money down the drain (or send it to me instead :P )
Unless the Turbo has Garrett / IHI / MHI / Nissan on the compressor cover, then it's not worth buying
And yes 0.63 A/R for the Single Cam under 200Kw atw is perfect !

OK just to establish
Higher the a/r (to a limit) will support more power so higher hp.
The bigger the turbo, the more cfm it puts out, the more power.. right?
so even if that did have a 0.63 a/r, just by looking at the size of it would it not flow enough air to make 200rwkW

For turbine housings, the bigger the A/R the more flow that the exhaust housing can pass (for a given turbine wheel). Think of it a bit like camshaft duration, the more duration the more power can be made up higher in the rev range.
That P trim exhaust wheel would be about 59-60mm in size which is very big for a 4 cylinder and will take alot more gas flow to make it spool. For example, on a 2L 4 cylinder, it may spool at say 5000 rpm (just a guess). But a smaller sized turbine wheel, say an N trim (which is about 51mm) will spool the turbo at say 2500 rpm on the same engine.
For a/r ratios (and using the same exhaust wheel size), the smaller a/r will see the need for less exhaust gas flow to spool that particular turbine wheel. For example, using the P-trim (59mm) turbo you were looking at, if you had a 0.63 a/r housing, it would spool up much quicker but also reach its maximum flow much earlier than say a 1.00 a/r housing due to the additional amount of flow that is required to fill it. The upside of this is that this will allow it to have more flow (and hence HP) in the higher revs.
Hope this helps :D

A GT30R with the 0.63A/R runs out of puff by 5000rpm on a 220Kw ATW DOHC
More then plenty for the Starion..............

This is what i have chosen for my lancer (JA engine).
http://www.atpturbo.com/Merchant2/merch ... y_Code=GRT
with a 64 A/R
Still don't know how it performs, will be installing it next month.
My goal is 280 Hp+ at the crank. I really hope my decision was right :?

280HP at the crank can be achieved with a TC06 ;)
That turbo with a 0.64 rear a/r will be excellent for a 2L SOHC and provide good early spool and response with plenty of scope for 300+ HP.
