Haltech E6K

hey,
does anyone else have a Haltech E6K in there starion?
just wondering if anyone has made some maps that have like lean fuel mixtures, then ones of when you take your car to the track, etc.. etc..

The later versions of firmware for the E6K have dual mapping, this is versions after 6.34 but unless you know the right people you wont get it.
If the car is tuned correctly in the first place there is no need for 2 or more different tunes unless you are using different fuels i.e. pump fuel and avgas or c16.

I have a map for a E6X for a 2.6litre with a GT35 turbo. but thats about it

MrGenius - iXNAY knows the right people :wink:

His car has a touched up Hitman map in it that is quite conservative.

iXNAY, be wary of maps from other cars - if they tune them to the edge, then it might be just over the edge on your car. Have a talk to some EFI tuners that have worked with E6K's a lot. I can give you some numbers to call if you like. You might be happy with just the full load and cruise load points optimised. Its worth getting it right the first time and its worth the money - just ask CussCuss about how much of a difference a good tune made to his car.

I have an E6K in my staz, and I think it's due for a tune...... I just need to find someone I can trust to do the job properly....

do all fuel computers have the ablity to load maps?
just cause i'd would love to go to multi point but i have no one up here to tune in the computer

i live in bathurst so its going to be hard to find someone that actually knows what they are doing with tuning, i would most likely have to goto sydney
