Hi-tech dyno tune in Adelaide

Post by GADGET »

Yeah the name might sound corny but John Keen has a new workshop!
He left his brother dave (disagreement) at Turbo Tune and has started this up. I believe gav recomended him to skip for tuning a while ago. I went in today for tune but found that I needed to go and fix a few gremlins first. farkin clutch and...FARKIN POS MUTHA F*@%&N WASTEGATE again!

Good helpfull guy willing to listen. He also doesn't like Graham West Workshops. A place I recomend every body stay away from!

off topic but.......i had a mate put his commodore in for a service to the local toyota work shop, then that night were crusing along about to take a round about when the steering locks straight and we plow in to the curve. we open the hood to find a big arse motha of a screw driver (those 30cm long ones) just floating around the engine bay!!

He sucks you in with great customer service skills. :x The workshop is presentable and very recently had $250,000 spent on it. Some people see a good drift car go in and say hey I will go to...I was recomended, I and the people who recomended me are very unhappy.

A few good cars have gone there that only require tuning. I have seen a car in Turbo Tune being worked on and then being tuned by Graham West later on?
The gsr/evo club love him! I have expressed my opinion on there forum and it wasn't taken too well. Go have a look

In short I paid $1000 for sweet F##K ALL! due to my wastegate(mostly labour). I told him to reassemble the car as it was when I arrived and the wastegate was reassembled to overboost. arrived with 10psi came out with unlimited off guage style.

They wanted $3000 for custom manifold, new dump and wastegate. $2500 for all but the manifold. And get this $900 for a 3" dump pipe! An exhaust place quoted me $150!

Very dodgy carnts! they see youngsters coming and hike them prices up.

Go see John Keen he knows mitsubishi's. He was involved with the cordia on the cover of fast fours. 5THSIN. He will be workin on my beast for sure.

John Moyle
-----
Go there for any head work, Cam grinding, EFI setups.
The dudes there know a shitload. This is the guy who used to race sprint cars with mitsi 2.6 engines in them.

For Tuning, i wouldnt know I tune my own cars... I have heard good things about RPM (only thing I havent heard good about them is price)

Also Emtech seems to be a good bunch...

I dont know from experience except for John Moyle.

i was wondering why i hadn't seen John at gym for awhile lol - will have to drop in and congratulate him :) yer, unfortunately having 4 brothers in the motor performance industry who don't exactly get along perfectly has its moments (he had a blowup with his other bro who owns ATS which caused a no talk for bout a year split :( - difficult when u have customers that go to both places!!!)

good to see you're using a quality place gadget - he knows his stuff thats for sure - hell - tuning for supercars has to count for something!!! heehehe
