being the mitsubishi freaks we are, if one were to look behind a garage door and discover an ex lancer 1800 just sitting there, and the owner says" i've owner her for years but i'm keen to sell" would you be tempted to buy seeing how rare they are?

If I had the spare cash. Yep. It'd be a great addition to any Starion family. Well I think so. Id use it as my runabout.

It sounds interesting. I know some had leaf spring rear ends while the turbo one's had 4 link setup (much better). Our NZ friends should help out here.

Just rip it off any old Lancer EX. If its custom to the 1800EX Turbo, well good luck :S but the main indicators are the same as any Lancer EX.

Im assuming you guys got the Lancer EX tho, if not, sure somebody can do a mission to Pick a Part or something for you :) Finding any items unique to the 1800EX would be pretty hard Id imagine.

we did not recieve this model to aussie shores. lancers stopped at 1979 and returned i guess with the cb model.. we missed that shape all together. therefore i need help in nz to find this part. have tried kempy's. they reckon no go. need to find someone with these vehicles and a few spares lying around.

Yeah Kempy's dont do old cars. 1990 on I beleive.

Im sure someone from here will be able to get you an indicator. Let me know if you get the car, and Ill keep an eye out for an EX at Pick a Part when I go next (gotta get 4 wheels for the Staz to get it out of my garage, so will be going there in the near future). If I see one and you have the car Ill grab the indicator for you, it will only be like $10 or something. Just cant guarantee somebody will be able too hook you up straight away thats all.
