We do have professional timing, if for some reason it is not available on the day we will run the day as a motorsport day with a supersprint, go to whoa and other events with open practice the rest of the time.
Our normal format is 9am-12pm 15 minute sessions, 12-1pm go to whoa or whatever majority votes, 1pm til 4pm open session with designated timed sessions.
Cheers

True. I will get to a track day one day.
Drag racing does have a couple of corners to turn into.
Staging lanes and back to the return road *L*

I'll do my best, but I have a few events before and after that I planned on entering so the motosport budget (time and money) might be a tad low. How much is the entry fee? and who it the official event organiser?

The event is being held by my club RENEW, entry fee will be approx $140, the maximum number of cars on the track at once is 7 so you get a massive amount of quality track time compared to most other days.
You will also need a wakefield license or a CAMS L2S or higher.
