It was a great day even though it was bloody hot :D

Cookie,
must be tow car failure week. My Fairmont died coming home split the plastic radiator tank :(
The funny thing was I hired the trailer to take the Starion to Wakefield incase something went wrong but I ended up driving the Starion home

Its not high enough. You need another trolley jack on top of that trolley jack.

can you use one at each end? Backyard style car hoist, that would be rather handy

see those axle stands, they were at the rear crossmember, they go pretty high, im not stupid enough to work under a car suspended that high without something else to support it, so yes, with 2 you could get it prettt dam high, but it would still be freaky. Im definately getting one of those jacks for xmas.

PS cable ties saved the day again, thanks steve

High lift jack

You can lift both ends of the car up, you just need big axle stands! I guess I have no excuse for not fixinf my suspension now!
