Was reading the drive section from yesterdays 'Age' newspaper, in particular, an article on the VW Bora
...And i quote:
"Funny name for a car, "Bora". Not as outright silly as "Starion" nor as misleading as "Cherokee Sport" but odd nonetheless."
i'd rather drive something called a Starion over something called Bora or Cherokee. bora sounds big bertha'ish and cherokee is just... hippish. starion on the other hand is imitation big horse!

I thought Starion stood for "star of orion" - considering Mitsubishi was doing a whole stellar thing...but then again....could be stallion as they did intorduce the "colt".
Back onto Starions, in 1982 how many 2lt cars packed 125kw, IRS, power windows etc. They'll all jealous, they all wish they could have Starions too! :)

We coverec this the other day! The Starion was already re-built! In 1991 Mitsubishi lauched the "Starion GTO", which is now known as the GTO\3000GT! One of the most awesome cars ever conceived!
