so the bits of the interior are coming out slowly and today i got around to taking a wire out that i knew travelled a bit of the car and was pretty sure it did nothing.
Heres what i got out
the entire red wire was connected to nothing, the best guess i can come up with is that it was a power supply for an amp and sub from previous owner, black stuff is cable for the old 6x9 speakers.
this was also under the carpet

Woo Hoo. A phillips screwdriver. LOL It's probably the ones my son lost. I can't figure out how you got it, but everything he loses ends up in strange places. Just like the time i found all my sockets in one of the chassis rails. :?

A friend of mine used to work at amberly on the F-111's. A few years after Australia aquired them , they emptied the fuel tanks and inspected them inside. A few screwdrivers , rags and even a lunchbox were floating around inside the tanks for a few years !!!!

no i had the trusty snips with me, but the bastard had a final parting blow, it was connected to the battery and i ended up burring the edges of the nut trying to get it off, i later realised the nut was in imperial :x :x :x
