Had fun then pulled over - DAM BA XR6T

Post by madeofmilo »

Hey guys, you may remember me. I'm the dude that keeps getting pulled over by the coppers.

Well on Saturday the 'ol man and I are going to do some trail bike riding. Anyways he feels like a nap (he's old alright?!). And says " you can drive the big ford " and so I drove it, about an hour down the trip, I wasn't even speeding, I was pulled over 'cos I was driving a car 'over the power to weight ratio for a probationary driver.' my dad and I talked our way out of it so he reduced it to a 'out of date rego label' still a $50 fine!!!

So that 5 offences in 5 months....I'm doomed to be stuffed by cops :P

Cheers Dave

well i don't want to anger anyone, but i must be the luckiest bloke around when it comes to cops. i wish it was the lotto but unfortunately....
I have been pulled over for just about everything. Speeding, unregistered car, cars with rego stickers not changed, bald tyres, i blew 0.03 whilst still on p's which in qld while on p's you can only have 0. maybe i am just a likeable person or whatever. I had a car used to call the super honda, an old civic that you would not beleive could go over 60 and I purposely drove it through a speed camera doing 75 in a 60 zone and didnt even get sent a fine. I was disappointed but it is unbeleivably lucky. i dont generally speed or do any of the other above things, just once in a blue moon.
...and on the seventh day god made mercedes.... and he saw it was perfect...

How does the XR6T hmmm? Anyone who's driven one would agree the word "insane" springs to mind. It may weigh 1700kg but it's and incredible feeling to drive.

I thought my staz was quick 'til a Sunday drive my and I pulled up at the lights against eachother. All I could see was a small blue speck far into the distance....he (dad) said he was pushing 220...as I was doing a measly 150.

I recommend a drive....not bad bang for your buck.

Although the new Evo 8 is only $63k....about the same as a fully optioned XR6T...
