Classic lines from FnF
Classic lines from FnF
Well FnF was on telly on Monday night so we watched it for something to do -
These lines I loved -
1. "its gots a full Motec exhaust". Uh Huh
2. "I live life a quarter mile at a time". Must take a while to go anywhere then
3. "We'll get a container load in from Japan overnight". Wow!
4. "you can see how it will look, you can have it any colour you want" Really
And so many more.

Never argue with an idiot, it brings you down to their level and they beat you with experience.

Fantastic!
I've never seen that poster before!
I enjoyed that movie very much.
Most of the laydees looked tasty, there were some hot cars, the acting was reasonable, and the music soundtrack kicked ass!
However, it was also full of flaws and inaccuracies, but let's face it, it was meant to be a fun, don't take it too seriously kind of movie, and that's what it was. Sure, I laughed out loud when the the bolts in the floor starting popping out because the manifold was in danger, and I wondered why there was any recognisable evidence of a car when the NAWS bottles exploded, and I also wondered when the several minute 1/4 mile race would end. Plus I also wanted to know why if the bad guy was spotted on the street, recognised, and chased, he wasn't busted upon returning home.
However, I loved the wheel stand performance to start the last drag race, and some of the driving was reasonably clever.
Like it or not, it set a benchmark.
My 2 cents...

the supra that starred in FnF was for sale a year ago.
see if i can dig up the ad, i might even have the car in a mag. It's a damn fast car, the ferrari drag may've been true. Though no std supra would stand a chance. I have a serious performance vid that has a rx3 beating a Diablo in a drag race. Convincingly.
I guess anything is possible with the right setup, and driver.
Though i could be waaaaay off.
