They came on a previous z he had... very rare. You can get them from a company in the states, but super expensive.

Can anyone download the video? i can download it fine, but apparently no-one else can? its funny :).

It's defiantly the sound of the pressure pushing back on the turbo. If thats not called reversion, then im wrong.

isnt it also known as turbo flutter?

isnt it not good for the turbo as it slows the fins down to stop and go stop and go?

its defaintly not good for the turbo, makes the shaft rattle back and forth, wearing seals. Does sounds pretty funky tho.

Hey that Z is a class act. Why they never released the 280ZX turbo in Australia is beyond me. Our cars only got the turbo bonnet pretty lame!!!
Those cars were bloody quick with just a few minor mods.
I used to have a 240Z with a P76 V8 (that was a long time ago). If I did it again some day I would definately go turbo 2.8, or use a later series RB engine.

You guy's have got to get over this BOV or the turbo will blow up thing. We raced the Starion for 2 years at 1-1.1 bar and never blew a turbo. Hey I do recommend one but he's not going to blow up on the way home

Its not a factory 280z turbo i should clarify, it has the turbo gear from an l20et out of an old laurel.
