I have a couple of videos of a starion owned by someone called "Kon", i think they came from a coltspeed site? The starion in question is bright yellow, and rather worked, and i know ive seen a few pictures of it. I really need to find them to show to my father... anyone help me out?

You are a scholar and gentleman sir, and i thank ye :)

Dad rekons it would look good yellow, and im inclined to agree. Also, yellow is good for hiding little dents, heh.

I have a 3 piece spoiler for it already, and will purchase the widebody replica front damn, to go on my JA style front bumper, should look interesting.

that interior looks pretty cool, but the exterior needs something to break up the yellow a bit... i dunno, even the grill black would make a big difference

I'll be keeping the front grille black, the rear pillars black and the numberplate garnish black.

good one

dont no why you would want a car to look the same as someone else's car??

was thinking the same thing myself.. thats why i can never see why everyone wants to do group buys of things, i would much rather have something different, than have the same as everyone else.. isnt that what most of you like about starions?? its something different, not just another commodore or 180sx? thought u would prefer to make your starion different not just the same as every other starion..

Whoa nelly.
I drive a starion because i like starions. I like my car. I dont care if someone elses looks the same, because i like MY car. I dont think you quite get that Starionboy. My car is not someone elses, therefore its not the same. I like how yellow looks on starions, so i will like MY car more when its yellow.
LIKE, YELLOW.

LXS, you need to move to NZ with your car.

ProZac take a deep breath, the whole post was not directed right at you.. i never said yellow didnt look good, i even considered it for my starion until there were too many around.. sure you might not care if yours looks the same as everyone elses but what about whoever you copy? they might want to have something different.. im just getting sick of everyone seeing something they like on a fairly rare car (compared to your general holden or ford) and copying it.. no one can think for themselves. i have a spoiler and side skirts on my car and have had several people from the site ask me where i got them and what they are off so they can copy them..

Zac, I think you should paint your car entirely in primer.

Go back 20 years or so and walk into a Mitsu dealer and you say "I want to buy a Starion". Yes sir, what colour would you like. I want one in a colour no one else has.

Then salesman says - do you want spoilers on it. Answer - does anyone else have them? "Well yes" is the reply. No I dont want anything that someone else has. Leave them off. "Well", comes the reply, "some dont have them either". Oh bugger what do you do now!

The point is there is a fairly limited choice in colours/spoiler kits/wheels etc for Starions so how can anyone be totally individual without totally making their own gear. Its a pointless exercise.

Personally I would be honoured if someone said they liked the look of my car and took some inspiration from it. Its a compliment.

Prozac - paint your car whatever you want to. BTW - silvers nice

Cheers
