Welcome to the forum Al.
Looks like you might have a bit of work ahead of you but I did a similar job here in Australia and I asked many questions on here and learnt that much that I was able to get the car to an acceptable standard for me to drive around in. At times I felt like giving up but the forum helped me through it and they are a great bunch of people.
