Mr &Mrs Oldies Victorian holiday

Jan wants to do a road trip and drive along The Great Ocean Road in November. What are the traps for drivers as am led to believe that one gets a fine for 1 k over the limit not that I speed on the road but if so I will be watching the speedo more than the road.
Planning for 2 nights in Melbourne so hope to catch up with the locals then :)

Rad, if you're going to do the Great Ocean Road, then keep coming an extra couple of hundred kays to beautiful Mount Gambier & its world famous Blue Lake. You're very welcome to stay at my place.
Our "legend of the Lakes" Hillclimb is also held over November 8-9-10 which is an awesome event. Not sure if that will fit your schedule.

Frank we will have 2 nights in M/borne staying @ Hotel Causeway 14&15 November so would be great to meet the locals :) :beer
PS will be Lorne 2 nights on the 9&10 th Warrnambool 11&12th Apollo Bay 13th so if anyone there please send name & contact numbers please :)

Geez Rad, your plan is so damn close to fitting our big event. Shame we'll miss you. Maybe keep that week-end in mind for your next big trip south. Enjoy the trip.
