GPS Recommendations

I'm looking for a GPS to build into the car - and while it will be used for directions, the main purpose is to warn me of the revenue generation systems hidden away on our public roads.

Some of the old Navmans had a feature where it would beep when you came up to a speed or red light camera, even if the device was off - provided it was hooked up to the cigarette lighter power.

Anybody know of any of the current models out there that may have something like this or similar?

The current ones are mostly humongous as well - i'm looking for one that is as small as possible, so that I can fit it into tight a tight space

Any recommendations?

I believe they are now banned and don't sell them anymore with radar detectors, although I've heard of some people modding them to do so, not sure how you might go about that tho

Sorry, I didn't mean ones with radar detectors (i know they are illegal) - I meant the ones that have location points built in for the fixed cameras..

Thrash, would you consider buying a GPS that has built in radar detection? Looks the same as the non-radar detection units except for little red & blue lights in one corner of the screen...
