Track day @ QR

Thought that I needed a refresher so I signed up with Stokell Motorsport and was at QR on the clubman track in the morning session.
Thought that I would use the old hard RT615's so went out for observation laps and the back snapped sideways braking for turn 3 crossover it felt like I was on the skid pan with diesel on the track so drove like Miss Daisy for the rest of the session keeping well out of the way and waving everyone past.
Justice = Mike had come out for a look and gave a hand to change over to the Federal595RSR's and the grip returned and the car was predictable again :D Also took a 1/4 turn bias off the rear brakes
Had Paul Stokell in the navigators seat in the last session and he taught me a better line into turn 6 that better suited the car and me.
Had offered to take Mike for a lap or 3 during the lunch break but he had disappeared so thought that after watching my driving had second thoughts and got cold feet and shot thru :o LOL
