Well you guessed it, I'm back. I have bought my old white JA back from Blair who has decided to put it up for sale. I miss the old girl, I invested so much of my soul into her I will be pleased to see her again.

Hey, hey, he's back!
I was just thinking that if you did end up getting it back, you've got to go down the multipoint route and achieve the car's improved potential.
And that's not to say go overboard! With my GSR-V run by a Microtech, I can vouch it's quite achievable these days without the headaches.
You're not chasing 200kw+, but say around 140-150kw just to put the smile on you face :) :)
As far as I know, you haven't done this to a Starion, so it would be a good experience!

Mal, you have some serious issues :) I'm not going down the multi point route, I probably won't even re-register it when the rego is due. I already have my six speed xr6 turbo ute which I love driving and my Supra Turbo ( currently unregistered as well ) So anyway we will see, I may register the staz if I can afford it. I just couldnt see her go to somebody that would mis treat her.

Darren, pleased to hear the car is back with its real owner.
Ongoing costs sounds like an issue for you, join a club in Sydney and get club reg for it.
Typically less than $200 all up to drive it up to 90 days a year and just over half that for 45 days (in Melbourne anyway).
Surely you guys have this scheme too?
If your Supra is old enough you could put it on it too..
And then the money you save can go towards the MPI conversion that it truly deserves!

Club rego in sydney now means no modifications!

Club rego in new means you cannot drive it unless it is a sanctioned event. If you are caught without approval from the club president you are in deep shit.

G'day Daz, so why did Blair want to sell it?
Also, didn't you MPI your old JD before Hoonie got it??
Glad your back anyway mate, and even better to have the same car back and not have to start all over again!!! :D :D

I don't know Jason, he just said for personal reasons. That's cool, I hope all is ok with him, he seems like such a nice young bloke. I'm stoked to be getting the JA back. Who wants to go for a drive to Bathurst on the 12th of August ??? Maybe we could just drive to Mals place and do the loop ???

In QLD you put personalised plates on a club rego car and as long as you don;t do something stupid, no one knows.
