Hi. My name is Mike Justice and I am restoring a JB Starion which I purchased from Redzone. I am looking for a R/Hand tail light lens. If anyone has one for sale at the right price I am interested or failing that can anyone tell me how to repair a cracked lens. Cheers Mike

Hi. Welcome to the eternal restoration that is a Starion. Sorry dont have any RH tail lights. You might find it hard getting one that isn't cracked. They are getting rare. Good to see that another JB is being looked after.

Hi,
Welcome to the Staz community!
Was it the white one or the maroon one you picked up?
You really can't just replace the lense on the JB lights like the way you can on the JA. It's possible but not advised.
You need to buy a whole unit. Or you can stick an amber/red piece of plastic on the cracked area.
I have a spare unit but it will cost you $200 posted.(Hard to get & pricey taillights)
Or I will have a set of partially cleared Conquest lights for $220 plus post in the very near future. They look very cool and different!
A sample...
...an orange globe is used to get the amber blinker going! FYI. Conquest lights have the entire lense in red which is not allowed in Oz.

Hi. I do not know about a red one. I bought the white one. The panel beater has found quite a few surprises unfortunately.
I am interested in the JB tail light. My phone number is 0412 763927.'

Just realised I have an extra left one...
I can still sell you one but if you like, however there's one on Yahoo auction in Japan for sale. From a car under 50,000km's.

You can use this mob to help you buy it,
www.japan-auction-agency.com or I can buy it for you. Let me know if you have hassles getting one.
Around $200 plus

Hi. Thank you for that. I cannot read Japanese but it seems to have a starting price of 7,700 yen which is $97. There is 4 hours left to the auction at my time of writing. I cannot bid on it. What do you suggest? I appreciate your help. Cheers Mike

If it doesn't sell this time around, it will automatically re-list!
It might be worth $97 on it's own, but there will be commission to JAA (about 15% & bank fees) and domestic shipping to them.
Then you will pay for international shipping to your door. You will need a Paypal account as well!
Like I said, around $200 +. Some cool stuff appears on this site so it's worth getting accustomed to it...

OK, I'll probably have my Conquest lights sorted next week to replace the one I have for you (which I already sent you the picture of it to your phone).
What else do you need? Apart from JB taillights, LSD's and instrument cluster/switches... I can throw in throw in other stuff for peanuts!
Let us know & I'll see if I can help.

Thank you. I need the middle left hand side switch on the instrument cluster. I do not know what it is as the car is at the panel beaters. My mobile phone does not have a camera. Thanks. Mike

Oh...but you did get my message then.
That centre switch does nothing on the JB, so I will throw in one to put on.
On the later model cars, it's a fog light switch but the JB has the fog lamp switch under the dash on the RH side of steering wheel.
