What do you want from the site? What do you want it to do?
Is it an information site, an e-commerce site etc?
What is your budget?

A commercial site, to list items for sale with the ability to search and filter.

I can do website design as well - also perhaps check with woody, he's a professional programmer, so website dev shouldn't be too difficult for him :beer
