How Heavy is your Starion?

I am very interested in the Power to Weight Ratio's of your Starion's!

Wikipedia say the Standard Factory weight was:
Narrowbody = 1,260 kg (2,800 lb)
Widebody = 1,340 kg (3,000 lb)

I personally planned to get my Starion on a dyno for power reading and taken to the local tip to use their drive on scales to get a Power-to-Weight ratio before I started my mods. That way I could compare a before and after of how far I have come.

But sadly, I didn't do either of these things before I started. Luckly I know a local place with the car's previous owners power rating. Just gotta get them to look it up for me :)

Anyone know the current weight of their modified Starion? Any Light-weight reductions taken place? :beer

Rad, the GVM is full of people!

I have a memory of JA's only weighing in at 1135kg ish? Could be wrong :roll:

JB's were heavier and so it goes!

1265 is heavy for a small car! I'll be putting mine on the weigh bridge when it's finished, just to see what I have added to it :(
I also need a weigh bridge certificate for engineers report and rego!!!

Cheers Jason

On my rego my Tare weight is 1220 tho.... not much has seemed to be missing when I got it, apart from the Air-con system.

1270 for a ja/jb, 1285 for a jd, 1330 for a late 2.6 widebody.

The 2.6 is about 20kg heavier than the 2.0, the 3 piece wing weighs about 10kg, the extra metal in a widebody weighs about 10kg, the 6 bolt diff & axles weighs about 5kg more than the early stuff, cruise control weighs a couple of kilo's, rest would be body deadener & climate control etc
