DOHC head casting numbers?

Not sure if this is in the right spot, but hey...
Anyway. Posting this for a guy I know, he's come across some numbers cast into the head of a VR4 Starion (used to be AXELR8, for those into Starion history :P ) he's bought for bits. Namely, the
2.0
3
casting.
Anyway. Apparently all the turbo heads he's seen have a 2 in place of the 3, so he's just wondering whether or not he does in fact have a turbo head?
Cheers guys.

if you look at:
http://forums.austarion.com/viewtopic.p ... t=quickest
that car is still listed as the fastest starion at the drags in australia... so a piece of history indeed.. if it's still in one piece, maybe he should keep it as is and take it to the drags again

Nah, as far as I know the previous owner started stripping it down then lost interest and left it out in the weather :(

The car's still alive, if barely. It's being driven by the owner's younger brother down in Adelaide.
Motor was stuffed so it's being sold off in bits, gearbox setup has gone to a guy doing an SC14-charged Sigma, the car now has a, wait for it... bone stock CARBY 2.6 and stock Starion 'box.
Oh, how the mighty hath fallen :(
